Easy Veg Hakka Noodles Recipe – A Quick and Flavorful Delight

Ingredients

  • 200g Hakka noodles
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

1. Cook the Noodles

  1. Boil the Hakka noodles in salted water according to the package instructions.
  2. Drain the noodles and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Toss them with a little oil to prevent sticking.

2. Prepare the Stir-Fry

  1. Heat oil in a large wok or pan over high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced onions, paneer if using and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.

3. Cook the Vegetables

  1. Add julienned carrots, capsicum, and shredded cabbage. Stir-fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  2. Add chopped spring onions and mix well.

4. Add the Sauces

  1. Stir in soy sauce, chili sauce, schezewn sauce, vinegar, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the vegetables.

5. Toss the Noodles

  1. Add the boiled noodles to the pan and toss gently to combine with the vegetables and sauces.
  2. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes to ensure the flavors are evenly distributed.

6. Serve

  1. Garnish with more spring onions and serve hot with your favorite Indo-Chinese accompaniments like Manchurian or chili paneer.
