Ingredients

- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp vinegar

- 1 tbsp cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup water (cornflour slurry)
- 1/2 cup water (adjust for consistency)
- Salt, to taste
- Spring onions, chopped and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Marinate and Fry the Chicken
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, egg, ginger-garlic paste, black pepper powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add the chicken pieces and coat them well.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
2. Prepare the Manchurian Sauce
- Heat oil in a wok or pan over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger. Sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Add chopped onion and capsicum, stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until slightly soft.
- Add soy sauce, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour in water and bring the sauce to a simmer.
3. Thicken the Sauce and Add Chicken
- Stir in the cornflour slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried chicken pieces and toss well to coat them in the sauce.
4. Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with chopped spring onions, sesame seeds and serve hot.
